A radio message from Lance Stroll went semi-viral following the Bahrain GP, with the Aston Martin driver having revealed what was actually being discussed.

Lance Stroll has explained that his frustrated radio outburst during the recent race was caused by flawed tire management rather than mechanical issues. The Aston Martin driver finished 12th at the Sepang International Circuit behind race winner Max Verstappen after conservative tire strategies led to losing tire temperature and track position.
Stroll noted that excessive management likely cost the team points because the Pirelli tires proved far more durable than anticipated. Looking forward, Stroll called Aston Martin's form a temporary relief before upcoming power-sensitive circuits highlight straight-line deficits.
