TRANSFER NEWS: The Cheetahs bolstered their outside backs stock after securing the signature of a former Junior Springbok speedster.

The Cheetahs have completed the signing of utility back Dominic Malgas from the Stormers. The 21-year-old moves to the Bloemfontein-based side following notable performances for the Western Province team throughout the 2026 Currie Cup season.
Malgas offers versatility across the back three, regularly plays fullback, and also serves as a goal-kicker. He previously represented the Junior Springboks five times and was part of the 2025 squad that won the World Rugby U20 Championship title in Italy.
