Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez is expected to be sidelined for around a month after suffering a left hamstring strain. The Serie A club confirmed the injury on Thursday following tests at the Istituto Humanitas in Rozzano, ruling the striker out of the upcoming Milan derby against AC Milan.
The Argentine forward sustained the muscle problem during Inter's recent 4-3 Champions League defeat against Club Brugge, a match in which he scored twice. Medical estimates indicate Martinez will miss at least three weeks of action, ruling him out of key Serie A fixtures and European ties.
