Versatile midfielder left the capital earlier this year…
Former Arsenal player Oleksandr Zinchenko has returned to training with Ajax as he completes his rehabilitation from a knee injury. The Dutch club announced on social media that the 29-year-old Ukraine international is working with their first-team squad, though he is currently not on a formal contract.
Zinchenko initially joined Ajax on a short-term deal after leaving Arsenal in February, but suffered a season-ending injury in his second match against Fortuna Sittard before his contract expired in June. The versatile midfielder released a statement thanking Ajax coach Michel Sánchez and Jordi Cruijff for supporting his recovery.
