Young star has become one of United’s key men
Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has revealed his dream is to bring the club back to competing for top trophies. Speaking ahead of United's Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, the 21-year-old emphasized his desire to replicate the success experienced by manager Michael Carrick during his playing days at the club.
Mainoo has established himself as a regular starter under Carrick after previously struggling under Ruben Amorim. However, Mainoo and teammate Luke Shaw are considered doubts for the Atletico Madrid clash after missing Monday's opening training session.
