DK Metcalf's availability helps the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Pat Freiermuth's calf injury threatens the depth needed to cover receiver losses.

The Pittsburgh Steelers cleared wide receiver DK Metcalf to play against Tampa Bay following an illness, but tight end Pat Freiermuth is now questionable with a calf injury. Pittsburgh remains depleted at wide receiver, with Michael Pittman Jr. on injured reserve, alongside Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek, who are both ruled out.
Freiermuth has caught four touchdowns in five games and has been a primary target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers amid the receiver injuries. If Freiermuth cannot play, head coach Mike McCarthy may rely on tight ends Darnell Washington and Robert Tonyan, as well as running back Jaylen Warren, to absorb the workload.
