Anthony Edwards believes the Minnesota Timberwolves have the roster to become a defensive super team following major offseason changes. Minnesota reshaped its lineup by trading Julius Randle and Naz Reid while adding LaMelo Ball and Jonathan Kuminga, alongside re-signing Ayo Dosunmu to a five-year, $112 million deal. Edwards highlighted the perimeter versatility of himself, Jaden McDaniels, and Kuminga to switch effectively.
Edwards also praised the defensive toughness of Dosunmu and the selfless mindset of Ball. Acknowledging that players must sacrifice shot attempts, Edwards noted that he is willing to reduce his own offensive volume to help the revamped Timberwolves succeed following their 49-33 campaign last season.
