Jaden McDaniels has signed a one-year, $40 million contract extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves. According to Shams Charania, the deal keeps the 26-year-old forward under contract through the 2029-30 season while giving him the flexibility to negotiate another extension in 2028 or become an unrestricted free agent in 2030.
McDaniels is coming off a productive 2025-26 campaign, averaging career highs of 14.8 points and 2.7 assists per game. The agreement secures a key two-way contributor for Minnesota alongside Anthony Edwards and newly acquired guard LaMelo Ball.
