The Rajasthan leg-spinner is likely to make his Jammu and Kashmir debut in the team's third Ranji Trophy match against Baroda.
Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar has joined reigning Ranji Trophy champions Jammu and Kashmir as a guest player for the 2026-27 domestic season. The former Rajasthan representative is expected to make his debut for J&K in their third Ranji Trophy match against Baroda, according to a report by Kashmir Sports Watch.
Chahar brings international and domestic experience to the squad, having played one ODI and six T20Is for India alongside stints with four IPL franchises and Surrey. J&K sought a specialist wrist-spinner following the retirement of former white-ball guest player Murugan Ashwin.
