Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani was among the bidders for Manchester United before Sir Jim Ratcliffe took part-ownership of the club

Former Manchester United bidder Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani could enter football ownership through an investment in Serie A club Inter Milan. According to reports from Tuttosport, his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, has initiated verbal contact to acquire a minority stake in the Italian side via investment vehicle Al Mirqab, where Sheikh Jassim holds a prominent role.
Current Inter owners Oaktree Capital Management reportedly have no intention of authorizing a full sale but may consider offloading a non-controlling interest. Sheikh Jassim previously attempted a full takeover of Manchester United before Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired a minority stake, and he had also explored purchasing Inter from previous owners Suning before talks collapsed over valuation.
