The right-shot defenceman is ready to go after having shoulder surgery last April.

The Winnipeg Jets have activated defenseman prospect Elias Salomonsson and loaned him to the AHL's Manitoba Moose. Salomonsson is prepared to return to game action ahead of schedule after undergoing shoulder surgery in April, with an immediate opportunity to play for the Moose on Sunday afternoon.
Salomonsson's previous season was cut short by a concussion during his NHL stint and a subsequent shoulder injury suffered during Manitoba's playoff run. His return adds defensive depth to the Jets organization, especially with top-pairing defenseman Josh Morrissey currently sidelined on a week-to-week basis.
