The Denver Nuggets will have their floor-spacing forward back right in time for their NBA regular season opening night assignment. According to Spencer Jones himself, he is on his way to a return to action for the Nuggets’ regular season…

Denver Nuggets wing Spencer Jones is progressing toward a return for the regular-season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder. After missing all five preseason contests due to a hamstring injury suffered in training camp, Jones returned to practice on Sunday and participated in a scrimmage.
Jones stated his availability is not completely confirmed as he rebuilds conditioning, but the team plans for him to play. His return provides a timely boost following Julian Strawther's knee injury, as Denver opens the season against the Thunder, who signed Jones to a matched $12 million offer sheet in July.
