Enzo Maresca has issued an update ahead of Manchester City matches against AEK Athens and Villa

Manchester City manager Maresca confirmed that Antoine Semenyo is expected to be sidelined for around eight weeks after suffering a knee injury against Ipswich. The Ghana international suffered collateral knee damage rather than a major ligament rupture, with the club targeting a return to action around December.
City also faces an injury concern over top scorer Erling Haaland, who suffered a blow to his foot after scoring twice against Ipswich. With City scheduled to play AEK Athens before visiting Aston Villa on Saturday, Maresca noted that Matheus Nunes, Mateo Kovacic, and Nico O'Reilly are mostly fine after taking knocks.
