Quarterback Patrick Mahomes earned his 100th win with the Chiefs in his 131st regular-season start Sunday, tying Tom Brady for the fewest games needed to reach 100 career wins.
Patrick Mahomes secured his 100th regular-season career win in his 131st start as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 on Sunday. With the victory, Mahomes tied Tom Brady for the fewest starts needed to reach 100 NFL wins since 1950. The win moved Kansas City to a 5-0 record, remaining the only undefeated team in the AFC.
Despite playing without injured wide receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton, Mahomes connected with eight different pass-catchers to build a comfortable lead. Xavier Worthy contributed a season-high seven receptions for 73 yards, while Travis Kelce and Noah Gray combined for 106 receiving yards. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and guard Trey Smith both praised Mahomes' leadership following the historic milestone.
