The former India cricketer expresses confusion over why Kuldeep Yadav cannot string together consecutive games despite strong records across all formats.
Former India cricketer Murali Kartik expressed confusion over why spinner Kuldeep Yadav cannot consistently secure a place in India's playing eleven. Speaking in an interaction arranged by Sony Sports Network, Kartik noted that despite maintaining an exceptional record across Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, the left-arm wrist spinner is repeatedly dropped between matches.
Kartik compared Kuldeep's situation to Varun Chakravarthy, arguing that Kuldeep offers superior batting and fielding alongside his strong bowling credentials. He also pointed out that Kuldeep and Nitish Kumar Reddy were the only players selected across all three format squads for the New Zealand series.
