Amorim becomes first Milan coach since 1963 to go unbeaten in first seven Serie A games

Ruben Amorim has become the first AC Milan coach since 1963 to remain unbeaten through his first seven Serie A matches. The Portuguese manager has guided his team to four wins and three draws, matching the historic milestone achieved by Luis Carniglia in 1963 and Hector Puricelli in 1955. The run was preserved following a 3-2 victory against Atalanta at San Siro, courtesy of goals from Goncalo Ramos, Adrien Rabiot, and Mario Gila.

The triumph lifted Milan to fourth place on 15 points, sitting four points adrift of joint leaders Inter and Lazio. Amorim took charge in June as the replacement for Massimiliano Allegri following his January departure from Manchester United. Milan now prepare for upcoming fixtures against Bournemouth in the Europa League and Udinese in Serie A ahead of the Milan derby on October 31.
