Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi downplayed fitness concerns for Omar Marmoush, Andy Robertson, and Tosin Adarabioyo after all three were substituted during a 3-1 victory against Coventry. Marmoush, who scored alongside James Maddison and Ben Davies, appeared to suffer a calf issue, while Robertson and Adarabioyo were also forced off in the second half. De Zerbi clarified post-match that none of the knocks were serious or important.
The manager confirmed that Destiny Udogie missed out due to a knee injury sustained against Manchester United. De Zerbi also explained that midfield availability issues, including recent knocks for Conor Gallagher and Lucas Bergvall, led him to deploy a three-man defense in possession to nullify Coventry's counter-attacking threat.
