Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona defender Xavi Espart, according to Caught Offside. The 19-year-old has broken into the Catalan club's first team this season, earning regular opportunities under manager Hansi Flick. Arsenal are actively monitoring the young defender's progress, viewing him as a promising prospect who could potentially develop into a valuable squad option.
However, the Gunners would face significant obstacles in securing a permanent deal, as Barcelona view Espart as an important part of their future plans. Additionally, North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the youngster's situation.
