The Chicago Blackhawks were back at practice Monday after their tough weekend loss. Here's notes from practice, plus some insight from Connor Bedard on his linemates.

The Chicago Blackhawks returned to practice on Monday following a 4-0 shutout loss to the Dallas Stars over the weekend. Ahead of their upcoming Friday game against the Montreal Canadiens, forward Andrew Mangiapane skated individually while recovering from a lower-body injury, though defenseman Bowen Byram remained absent with an upper-body issue.
Head coach Jeff Blashill maintained unchanged line combinations, including a top forward unit featuring Connor Bedard, Patrick Kane, and Roman Kantserov. Bedard spoke positively about developing chemistry alongside Kane and Kantserov, while Blashill highlighted the team's ongoing need to improve their defensive-zone breakouts.
