The Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets have the cap space to put pressure on the Portland Trail Blazers with Scoot Henderson.

Rip City Project's Reese Kunz argues that the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls could target Scoot Henderson in restricted free agency next summer. The Portland Trail Blazers did not sign the former No. 3 overall pick to a rookie-scale extension before the deadline, leaving his long-term future in doubt.
Kunz notes that Brooklyn and Chicago will project among the league leaders in cap space, giving them the financial capability to pressure Portland. With the Blazers adding Ja Morant and pushing Henderson down the depth chart, rival teams could attempt to sign the 22-year-old guard.
