Harry Brook reckoned dew would be a factor as he opted to chase in Rawalpindi

England captain Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bowl first in their opening Tri-Series day-night ODI against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Brook cited expected evening dew as a primary factor in his decision to chase. England made two changes from their previous ODI lineup, bringing in Adil Rashid and Sam Curran to replace Liam Dawson and the rested Jofra Archer.
Pakistan named an unchanged lineup following their 37-run victory over Sri Lanka at the same venue. Captain Shaheen Afridi welcomed batting first again, pointing to past success defending totals on the Rawalpindi pitch after his pace attack recently restricted Sri Lanka to 268 all out.
