Rodrygo remains ruled out as he continues his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered last March, while defender Raul Asencio is also out following right leg surgery. Ferland Mendy is considered a doubt after returning to grass training.
Rodrygo might not be risked until early next year, and Asencio is expected to be sidelined until at least December following a relapse. Meanwhile, Mendy has progressed to training on grass for ten days, leaving open the possibility of a return in the near future.
