The 20-year-old made five first-team appearances in 2026…

Leeds Rhinos utility back Fergus McCormack has signed a new long-term contract extension, committing his future to Headingley until at least the end of 2029. The 20-year-old was previously facing an expiring contract at the end of the upcoming season, but has now agreed to terms following a breakthrough 2026 campaign.
McCormack made five senior appearances in 2026, scoring his first professional try against Toulouse Olympique before starting at full-back in the Super League play-off semi-final against Warrington Wolves. Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur praised the youngster's attitude, versatility, and development through the club's scholarship system.
