Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre has lifted the lid on his memories of the famous dressing room bust-up, as well as Sir Alex's French skills

Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre recalled the infamous 2003 dressing-room incident where Sir Alex Ferguson struck David Beckham with a kicked boot. Speaking on the 'Call Yourself A Fan' podcast, Silvestre described the moment following an FA Cup defeat to Arsenal as surreal, revealing teammates had to intervene and physically separate Ferguson and Beckham before they clashed.
Silvestre noted that the two did not speak for a significant period following the altercation, after which Beckham left for Real Madrid. The former defender also compared Ferguson's fiery management style with that of former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, noting both contrasting approaches delivered success.
