Blake Griffin has jokes about his former team — and his next act.

Former NBA star Blake Griffin is launching a new comedy talk show titled "The Stepback with Blake Griffin," set to stream on YouTube and Prime Video. Ahead of the premiere, Griffin shared his thoughts on the LA Clippers and compared current owner Steve Ballmer to former owner Donald Sterling following recent NBA sanctions against the team. Griffin noted Ballmer's willingness to spend heavily contrasted sharply with Sterling's notoriously frugal ownership.
Inspired by John Oliver, Griffin's show aims to explore topics including NIL, sports analytics, and sports journalism with an experienced research team. Griffin also addressed fan hopes for his No. 32 jersey to be retired by the Clippers, calling it an organizational choice, and expressed his ambition to eventually host "Saturday Night Live."
