Following the support they received from the rugby community after Hyron Andrews’ death, Julian Redelinghuys says the Lions have found some closure and are trying to refocus.

Lions assistant coach Julian Redelinghuys stated that there is no manual for navigating the squad's grief following the sudden death of lock Hyron Andrews. Speaking ahead of Friday's United Rugby Championship match against Edinburgh, Redelinghuys explained that the team has found some closure through community support and is trying to refocus on rugby.
Andrews passed away in camp shortly before the Lions' 31-14 Champions Cup defeat to La Rochelle. Redelinghuys noted that grief counseling was made available immediately, with the squad adapting minimal training preparations similar to the Barbarians while continuing their multi-week tour.
