The Jaguars clearly don't trust Brian Thomas Jr. anymore, which means a change of scenery could be good for everyone.

Writer Leigh Oleszczak argues that the Kansas City Chiefs should pursue a trade for Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. before the November 10 deadline. With Rashee Rice sidelined by a hamstring injury and Tyquan Thornton likely out for the regular season, Kansas City needs receiving reinforcements. Meanwhile, Thomas has fallen out of favor in Jacksonville, sitting out the entire second half of the Jaguars' 34-31 loss to the Houston Texans.
Oleszczak suggests Thomas could provide quarterback Patrick Mahomes with a downfield target following his limited 2026 production of nine catches for 105 yards. Although Jacksonville publicly maintains it will not trade Thomas, the article notes speculative proposals including a first- or second-round draft pick, though Oleszczak believes a third-round selection might suffice.
