Hall, who has five points in eight games for the Hurricanes, is week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Monday that veteran left winger Taylor Hall has been placed on injured reserve. Hall is considered week-to-week after sustaining an upper-body injury during a game against the Washington Capitals. He had recorded five points across the opening eight games of the season.
Hall's injury adds to significant offensive absences for Carolina, which is currently missing forwards Seth Jarvis, Jordan Staal, and Mark Jankowski. Despite these injuries, the Hurricanes sit atop the Metropolitan Division with a 7-2-1 record following a recently ended seven-game winning streak.
