After torching the AHL with nine points in six games, Winnipeg’s top prospect returns to the NHL to ignite a struggling offense desperate for elite scoring depth.

The Winnipeg Jets recalled prospect forward Brayden Yager from the AHL's Manitoba Moose on Monday. The 21-year-old earned the promotion to the NHL after demonstrating a strong offensive surge to begin the 2026-27 hockey season.
Yager, who was selected 14th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft, recorded five goals and four assists for nine points across six games with the Moose before receiving his call-up to Winnipeg.
