Tosin Adarabioyo impressed on his full Premier League debut for Tottenham Hotspur in their 3-1 victory against Coventry City. The defender, who arrived from Chelsea on deadline day, won seven of his eight aerial duels—an 88 percent success rate—to establish a dominant presence in manager Roberto De Zerbi's backline alongside Micky van de Ven.
Adarabioyo also completed 91 percent of his passes and made 13 line-breaking distributions during his 71 minutes on the pitch. Although he was forced off after receiving treatment in the second half, De Zerbi indicated post-match that the defender did not suffer a serious injury ahead of Tottenham's upcoming match against Chelsea.
