Tom Hartley Jnr will place five McLaren Formula 1 cars, from 1991 MP4/6As to Lando Norris’s 2023 MCL37A, with private collectors worldwide.

McLaren Racing has partnered with Oxfordshire dealer Tom Hartley Jnr to sell five historic Formula 1 cars directly from the team to private collectors. The offering covers 32 years of racing history, ranging from two 1991 MP4/6A chassis driven by Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger to Lando Norris's 2023 MCL37A. McLaren CEO Zak Brown explained the decision by stating that keeping the cars sitting in storage does a disservice to what they represent.
The collection also features a 2012 MP4/27A driven by Jenson Button and Norris's podium-finishing 2021 MCL35M. Every car has remained in McLaren's custody since its final race and will be fully prepared by the team before handover. All five chassis will be offered individually with no prices publicly disclosed.
