The Story in 60 Seconds

Williams has expanded its ongoing partnership with Marvel by unveiling a special Doctor Doom-inspired show car livery at New York Comic Con. The black-and-green design celebrates the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday and follows an ongoing collaboration that introduced drivers Alex Albon, Carlos Sainz, and Team Principal James Vowles into the Marvel Universe. The trio appears alongside Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America in the one-shot comic book Iron Man: Racing Towards Doom, written by Ethan Sacks with art by Greg Land.

While neither driver will race using the Doctor Doom design, the FW48 show car is on display for fans at the Williams Fan Zone during the United States Grand Prix in Austin from October 19 to 24. The collaboration originated earlier in the 2026 season ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, encompassing limited-edition comic covers across multiple race weekends, exclusive merchandise, and digital collectibles for team members.
