Because Brandon Ingram is injured, and is expected to be out for quite some time, Keaton Wagler's strongest skill could be unlocked.

Marco Antonio Munno of Clipperholics argues that Brandon Ingram's Achilles injury could open a major scoring role for LA Clippers rookie Keaton Wagler. With multiple backcourt contributors sidelined to start the season, the writer believes the rookie could potentially earn significant minutes and become the primary secondary scoring option behind Darius Garland.
Several perimeter players are currently unavailable for the Clippers, including Brandon Ingram, Max Strus, Bradley Beal, and Jordan Miller. Wagler, selected fifth overall in the draft out of Illinois, started the preseason finale against the Denver Nuggets, recording 12 points and four assists over 28 minutes.
