New York Rangers winger Pavel Dorofeyev went another game without a goal on Monday night against the Anaheim Ducks, but that's not due to lack of effort. Rather, it was a case of bad luck for Dorofeyev.

Pavel Dorofeyev endured another frustrating scoring night despite generating numerous chances in the New York Rangers' 5-2 win against the Anaheim Ducks on Monday. The winger registered 10 shots and hit the post on an open net, leaving him with just two goals through 11 games this season. Oliver Bjorkstrand scored two goals to help propel the Rangers to a 6-0-0 home record.
Dorofeyev also faced a brief benching by head coach Mike Sullivan during the second period. Sullivan explained after the game that Dorofeyev was removed from the top power-play unit for failing to make a smart line change after logging 3:02 of continuous ice time during a first-period man advantage.
