Loan bstar Daniel Bennie has been approached by Scotland U21s boss Tony Docherty over switching allegiance from Australia…

Dundee United loan winger Daniel Bennie is at the center of an international tug of war between Scotland and Australia. Scotland Under-21 head coach Tony Docherty has approached the 20-year-old and his representatives to explore switching his international allegiance. Bennie, who is currently on loan from Queen's Park Rangers, previously represented Australia at the under-17 and under-20 levels but qualifies for Scotland through family members.
Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin confirmed the approach from the Scottish FA, noting both nations remain live options for Bennie. Goodwin suggested Australia's under-23 Olympic squad could be an attractive factor, but praised Bennie's physical readiness and development in the Scottish Premiership since arriving on loan from England.
