Gian Piero Gasperini was glad Roma got their first Champions League victory against Slovan Bratislava…

Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini praised his squad following a dominant 4-0 victory against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League, while expressing concern over a fresh injury to captain Lorenzo Pellegrini. Goals from Mario Hermoso, Nahuel Molina, Niccolò Pisilli, and a Donyell Malen penalty secured Roma's first league phase win of the campaign at the Stadio Olimpico.
Pellegrini was forced off with a muscular issue early in the second half, casting a shadow over the result. Gasperini highlighted the importance of squad rotation during a packed schedule, noting upcoming difficult European fixtures against Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
