Newcastle United scouts watched Valencia winger David Otorbi during a 2-2 match against Racing Santander earlier this month, according to Marca. The representatives reportedly left with an excellent impression of the 19-year-old, who came on as a substitute in the 58th minute and scored Valencia's second goal.
Otorbi's agent, Nacho Gallert, confirmed significant interest and calls from Premier League clubs regarding a potential permanent move, but noted the player is currently content learning in Spain. Vital Football suggests Newcastle will eventually need a right winger, though a January transfer would be surprising.
