The Story in 60 Seconds

Field Gulls has launched a fan survey questioning whether Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III will break the Seattle Seahawks' 35-game streak without allowing a 100-yard rusher. Walker, who previously played for Seattle, leads the NFL with 665 rushing yards this season and has surpassed the 100-yard mark in four of his five games.

Writer Mookie Alexander notes that the Seahawks have not allowed an individual 100-yard rusher since James Cook did so for the Buffalo Bills in October 2024. Alexander suggests that game script, such as a large lead or Seattle turnovers, could heavily influence whether Walker breaks his former team's defensive streak.
