The Chargers look like they must move on from one veteran here.

Heavy on Lions analyst Owen Crisafulli proposes that the winless Los Angeles Chargers trade veteran cornerback Donte Jackson to the Detroit Lions. Under the suggested proposal, Detroit would acquire Jackson in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round draft pick to boost their struggling secondary.
Crisafulli argues that the Lions need cornerback help to sustain their playoff aspirations, while Los Angeles has incentive to move Jackson before his $13 million contract expires. The Chargers recently dropped to 0-6 following a 22-6 defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs.
