Cleveland overwhelmed Rays slugger with high fastballs in ALCS…

The Milwaukee Brewers are formulating pitching strategies to contain Tampa Bay Rays slugger Junior Caminero ahead of Game 1 of the World Series. After hitting 42 regular-season home runs, Caminero experienced an up-and-down postseason before hitting a decisive two-run home run in ALCS Game 6 against Cleveland Guardians closer Cade Smith.
While the Guardians found early success by attacking Caminero with high four-seam fastballs, Milwaukee relies significantly less on four-seamers during the playoffs. Potential approaches include using starter Jacob Misiorowski's high heat or leveraging presumptive Game 2 starter Logan Henderson's changeup, a pitch against which Caminero slugged a season-low .328.
