The Cleveland Guardians’ World Series dream is over, and now they may have some hard decisions to make. Guardians star outfielder Steven Kwan could be on the trade block after the team’s ALCS exit, Robert Murray of FanSided reported Tuesday.
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan is reportedly being linked to trade interest from the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs following Cleveland's exit from the ALCS. Robert Murray of FanSided reported Tuesday that Kwan could become available via trade as he heads into his final year of arbitration eligibility.
Kwan is under team control before reaching free agency after the 2027 MLB season. The 29-year-old contact hitter has earned two All-Star selections and four Gold Glove Awards since debuting with Cleveland in 2022, batting .282 during the regular season.
