Jean-Philippe Mateta is keen on joining Manchester United from Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is keen on securing a transfer to Manchester United during the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT. The 29-year-old French forward is reportedly pushing for the move and has no inclination to sign a contract extension with Palace, leaving him with just nine months remaining on his current deal.
Manchester United are prioritizing the addition of a striker due to ongoing fitness issues for Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee falling out of Michael Carrick's primary plans. Although clubs from Saudi Arabia, Aston Villa, and Tottenham have also been linked with Mateta, United are considered well-placed to complete a permanent mid-season deal.
