Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood stated he believes Tottenham will finish above Manchester United in eighth place this Premier League season. Speaking to Jamie Redknapp on The Overlap, Sherwood suggested Manchester United will struggle to cope with fixture congestion from additional matches.
Pundit Gary Neville also predicted Tottenham could push toward the top eight following their recent 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Tottenham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table with six points from seven matches, trailing 13th-place Manchester United by a single point.
