NFL Legend Eric Dickerson Sues Son’s School Over Racial Abuse

NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson and his family have filed a lawsuit against Oaks Christian School in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging the private school failed to protect his sixth-grade son from persistent racial harassment and physical abuse during the 2024-25 academic year. The complaint accuses the institution of negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and violating California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.

According to the lawsuit, the student faced repeated racial slurs and physical incidents from classmates, while administrators and teachers allegedly failed to discipline the offenders. Oaks Christian School stated that it is dedicated to student dignity, disputes the allegations, and intends to respond to the claims in court.
