Glasgow have secured the future of a second Scotland lock in as many days after agreeing a contract extension with Alex Craig.

Glasgow Warriors have signed Scotland lock Alex Craig to a contract extension that keeps him at Scotstoun until at least 2029. The 29-year-old forward follows fellow Scotland international lock Alex Samuel in committing his long-term future to the club. Head coach Franco Smith praised Craig's defensive expertise and dedication since joining the squad in 2025.
Craig recently returned from a torn foot tendon that ended his previous season, scoring a try in Glasgow's 47-27 Champions Cup victory against Sale. His strong return puts him in contention for Gregor Townsend's Scotland squad for the upcoming November internationals against New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.
