The Blues have lost one of their last seven matches, despite missing at least 10 players through injury…

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho believes his current squad is the strongest since the club's return to the Championship. Mousinho rotated four key performers, including captain Marlon Pack, ahead of a 1-1 draw against Wolves at Molineux, where Terry Devlin netted an 86th-minute equalizer. The result leaves Portsmouth with only one defeat in their last seven matches despite dealing with at least 10 injuries.
Mousinho noted that previous heavy defeats following rotation demonstrated past squad shortcomings, whereas recent recruitment has significantly improved depth. Summer signings Shein and Shade arrived for almost £4 million in total transfer fees as Portsmouth raised spending. Looking ahead to the upcoming January transfer window, Mousinho indicated that adding three to four players would show positive, sustainable progress compared to previous overhaul windows.
