With injuries and roster movement, many of the Eagles’ late-round draft picks are starting to contribute this season.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata praised the development and readiness of the team's young players amid significant roster turnover and injuries this season. Multiple departures and injuries across the offensive line and defense have forced several rookies and backup players into major starting roles.
The offensive line saw Landon Dickerson placed on Injured Reserve, Lane Johnson retire, and Cam Jurgens traded to the Ravens, elevating Markel Bell, Drew Kendall, Willie Lampkin, and Jake Majors. Defensively, rookies Keyshawn James-Newby and Cole Wisnewiski both earned playing time against the Carolina Panthers after injuries hit the active roster.
