The Phoenix Suns suffered a heavy 124-83 defeat against the Portland Trail Blazers in their 2026-27 season opener on Wednesday night. Portland established control immediately, outscoring Phoenix 43-12 in the first quarter and extending the lead to as many as 52 points. Damian Lillard scored 17 first-half points and made six three-pointers, matching the entire Suns roster's total from beyond the arc.
