The Story in 60 Seconds

Rangers are preparing to end their temporary switch to Umbro and will reintroduce the Castore logo on their first-team kits for the 2027-28 campaign. Club chief Andrew Cavenagh confirmed the upcoming change during a recent fan engagement meeting, concluding the Umbro era after just two seasons.

The Ibrox club originally signed a deal with Castore in 2020 before quietly agreeing to a seven-year extension in 2023 that runs until 2030. Although a sub-licensing agreement allowed Rangers to wear Umbro branding, the Castore wings will return for the final three years of the partnership.
