After A.J. Brown's rough Week 6, Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson might be able to match up well against him, despite his tough start to 2026.

Writer Anthony Miller argues that Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson may face New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown at an advantageous time on Thursday Night Football. Despite Johnson's difficult start to the season, which includes a 44.1 PFF grade and a 115.1 passer rating allowed, Miller highlights that Brown is also struggling following an ankle injury that sidelined him for four games.
Brown recorded three drops and a fumble in his Week 6 return against the New York Jets, catching only three of 10 targets. Miller believes facing a rusty Brown gives Johnson a prime opportunity to build on recent defensive improvements and regain his Pro Bowl form.
